NAPLAN Testing Preparation...are you ready?

It’s that time of year again when lots of parents, children and schools are talking about the National Testing that children in years 3, 5 and 7 will undertake in May. Many parents have asked if Getting Smarter provides NAPLAN preparation sessions for children. We provide literacy and numeracy coaching every day of the week which is, in essence, the very best preparation children can have. Regardless of where children are on their learning journey, they can always continue to move forward. Our core business is to provide children with reading, writing and numeracy strategies that work for them in order to get smarter! As we edge closer to the testing dates, it is important for children to familiarise themselves with the styles of questions that are presented in NAPLAN tests as well as test taking skills and tips to help alleviate what can be a stressful time for children. At Getting Smarter, over the next few weeks we will certainly be doing our best to help children approach the compulsory testing with confidence.
