Yesterday I was luck enough to attend the Logan City Council Staff Innovation Awards. It is amazing what great ideas our team are generating for ways to improve the operations at Council. Congratulations to all those who were nominated and especially those that won or were runners up.
I was nominated for my development of an Induction Manual for my Branch as part of my Business Improvement role. While unfortunate not to be a winner but totally understandable against the caliber of other initiatives, I know that the Manual will do what it was intended to do. Our new Trainees are loving it and have been sharing it around with others that don't have a manual in their branch.
Thanks to the Judges, it must a been a difficult time deciding.
