Anita Murfet

Initially trained as a primary teacher, I later specialised as a primary school teacher-librarian. I have enjoyed classroom teaching and also teaching information literacy whilst managing school libraries in both Victoria and Logan Queensland, developing library database modules to promote a love of reading, and also to support teaching and administrative reporting requirements. Initially trained as a primary teacher, I later specialised as a primary school teacher-librarian. I have enjoyed classroom teaching and also teaching information literacy whilst managing school libraries in both Victoria and Logan Queensland, developing library database modules to promote a love of reading, and also to support teaching and administrative reporting requirements.

At secondary school I developed a love of geology, classic and flamenco guitar, art, craft, pottery, threads and textiles. Later whilst on study leave I studied a little bit of graphic design.

I have fished the Murray River, milked our house cow, bred and exhibited German Shorthaired Pointers and am now interested in wider environmental, human and animal welfare issues, organic and toxic-free lifestyles and riding our tandem bicycle.

A proud and long-term resident of this vibrant Logan community, I am self-employed as an Independent Distributor for SendOutCards, working in partnership with my husband Keith Murfet.

We have been Logan residents for over 30 years. Our daughter was raised and educated in Logan and now lives with her husband and young family in the USA.

As our family, friends and business connections are scattered throughout Australia and the globe, we keep in touch using a variety of social media and also personally, eg promoting our Logan Queensland to residents of Logan Utah USA.

Now I find myself in my element uploading photos videos and hand-written greetings into letterbox-delivered greeting cards printed then delivered worldwide by SendOutCards.

It is both a joy and a privilege to assist Logan connections to enrich their relationships, communications and marketing in this way.
