After another Monday which arrived too quickly (where did my weekend go?!), it was time to try a new beer. One of my favourite styles are Belgian ales, which are normally dominated by spicy tastes and phenolic aromas. I had the Salvation by Avery Brewing, who are based in Colorado, USA. This was exactly what I was hoping for, malt sweetness upfront, with a bitter, spicy finish and dominant phenolic aroma. This beer is now on my "to clone
