The Ipswich PCYC was officially opened on 13th November 1965 and has been serving the Ipswich community for 45 years. Those years have seen the Club grow to one of the largest PCYC Clubs in Queensland.
With over 20 different activities on offer it finds itself serving members from 2 to 72 years of age.
In the early days money was raised for the original building by a dedicated group of people. One such fundraiser involved a boxing troupe which would go visit small country towns such as Esk and Boonah. Which is sort of ironic since the Club's latest activity is Boxing.
Ipswich PCYC is a non profit organisation which allows low affordable prices for activities which can otherwise be out of reach to parts of the community. All the coaches and staff are fully trained and accredited in their respected activity / sport.
Ipswich PCYC prides itself on its strong professional approach to providing a quality service of the highest standard for the Community of Ipswich.
