Hanson are mmm-bopping into town!

The brothers who set thousands of hearts aflutter in the 90's, Hanson are heading to Australia. As part of their Shout It Out World Tour 2012, Isaac, Taylor and Zach Hanson will hit Adelaide's HQ on Thursday, 13 September.

Hanson first captured Australia's attention with their five times platinum 1997 album Middle of Nowhere, which featured hit singles Where's The Love, Thinking Of You and, of course, the unforgettable MMMbop. Whilst to all but the fans it may seem like, following 2000's This Time Around the boys fell off the radar, Wikipedia tells me that they've been steadily releasing new records throughout the 00's, the most recent being 2010's Shout It Out. They've also enjoyed a lot of success with the ladies: all three boys are married with kids, each with a more ridiculous name than the last (see: River Samuel, Viggo Moriah, Junia Rosa Ruth).

Hanson's gigs will follow recent visits from Backstreet Boys, Aqua, S Club and the Vengaboys. At this rate, it's surely only a matter of time before Eiffel 65, B*Witched and Soap hit our shores.

You can catch Hanson at HQ on Thurday 13 September. Tickets go on sale through OzTix on Thursday 12 April (9am EST).
